Fantastic views await you in summer and winter from the Hahnenkamm in Höfen. The Reutten cable cars take you comfortably to the hiking and skiing area, where you can hike to numerous alpine pastures and huts in summer and enjoy great downhill runs in winter. For relaxation in between or to warm up on cold days, the Alpentherme Ehrenberg with its bathing world and sauna paradise beckons.

The natural paradise of Reutte offers breathtaking panoramas, cosy huts and over 400 kilometres of hiking fun. The popular long-distance hiking trail "Lechweg" leads directly past our flats. The Reutten cable cars take you to the heart of the Hahnenkamm Höfen hiking paradise. Enjoy the wonderful hikes to the numerous alpine pastures and huts as well as the fantastic view of the Reutte valley basin and the Tannheimer Tal valley.

Mountain biking, road biking, pleasure biking...there is something for everyone. Parts of Ehrenberg Castle are just as bikeable as our idyllically situated alpine pastures and huts. Historic is cycling on the old Roman road Via Claudia Augusta, one of the most popular long-distance cycle routes. The entire beauty of the impressive Lechtal and Allgäu Alps and the special river landscape along the Lech is practically revealed in passing on a tour along the Lechradweg.

The nature park region of Reutte has numerous skiing areas in store for you, where all skiing enthusiasts are in good hands. The largest skiing area of the region in the Hahnenkamm mountain world can be reached in just 5 minutes by car from our accommodation. Other ski lifts can be found in the immediate vicinity in Höfen, Weißenbach, Ehenbichl and Vils. But no matter on which slope you take your turns, you can rely on the fact that every ski slope is perfectly groomed and prepared.

The largest and closest ski area
Hahnenkamm Ski Area
Only 3 kilometres separate you from the boundless fun on the slopes of the Hahnenkamm ski area in Höfen. Who will make the first turns on the freshly groomed slopes? Get into one of the 8-seater circulating cable cars. Up the mountains. And then it's time to enjoy. 15 kilometres of pistes, to be exact. What else is there to do? The panorama restaurant and the Cilli Hütte invite you to stop for refreshments. You will also find a ski hire shop and a ski school that cater for young and old.

Zugspitz Arena
The choice of pistes and lifts in the Zugspitz Arena is so great that you can choose a different piste every day. 7 sensational ski areas offer 142 kilometres of pistes and 56 mountain lifts. From easy slopes for beginners and families to challenging runs for experienced skiers, everything is available.
Small & fine
Tannheimer Tal
Although there are no large ski areas in the Tannheimer Tal, skiers can choose between five smaller ones. Their manageable size makes for a pleasant family atmosphere.
